Really good article. But where are these inauthentic teachers that guarantee awakening? I haven't come across them. Maybe i spend too little time on social media :) And yes, the ego comes back after an authentic experience and claims it for itself. This is a natural process that (almost) everyone goes through.. you fall on your face and get up again. humbled and a little wiser. Some people make a fool of themselves by making big announcements to the world, or start teaching too early or evangelize... Let's not mock them, but show them some compassion. In a big or small way, we all have that in us.
So much contradiction especially when they build so much wealth around them and their weekend retreats costs in the 1000s of dollars. When I first started questioning everything that ran through my head, Eckhart Tolle’s ‘Power of now’ was so clear and precise, surgical even.
And yet this guy is making so much money through books, training programs, retreats, online members only portal,
I find it hard to reconcile expecially when the message from this person resonated as truth does.
Slaughtering one sacred cow after another. Soon there will be nothing left!!! Ha Ha
